Auto Hill Holder is afeature is on my 2011 1er - which is a MANUAL... not sure why it's needed on an automatic...

I just googled this and apparently Cadillac has an auto Hold feature as well.. seems like P for Park works perfectly for this scenario.

Agree, the ZF is great. I got to like it more and more and I am total MT freak.
Wanted to go back to G80 MT but looks like they don't offer it with AWD

That's the Auto Hold (for the brakes). Not a Sync button for HVAC.
