Some things in the video I noticed:
1. If you forward to 1:05, the M340i launches, then the driver applies the brakes for a second (???) then continues to accelerate. DSC doesn't toggle the brake lights. 2. The M2C cheats by launching first. 3. The M340i is on the wet side of the track. This was not a fair race. |

M2 got a good jump - it didn't "cheat". The m340 simply had a terrible start.

Lol
M2C is superior in feel and dynamics. Bad comparison. I would pick the M2C over any 3 series or even an M3.

Also there's a lot of magazine racers. When I go to the drag strip with my cars, all these 11 and 12 second (on paper) 1/4 mile cars are running 13's. Especially with a manual. A guy in a demon last time I went was running in the 12's. One of the most consistent was a 335xi auto with a tune. High 12's consistently but in a car like that it's pretty brainless. That being said his trap speed was only around 110.

Yeah the F80 does, I thought I read the next M3 will be getting brake rotors that grow .5 inches in size? Maybe I was wrong, but I remember thinking well if that's the case you probably can't get an 18 inch wheel anymore. 19s will be the entry point.
