Yessir. My e46 has it. Great lil feature. Not sure about the deliberate notch here. The trim piece on the E46 seemed to flow better. I'm warming up to this car. Just need to get black wheels

Both the front end and back end are too busy for me. The grille definitely isn't my cup of tea. I prefer the traditional grille that is separated and there's paint in between the kidneys. The tail lights are okay. They look much better while lit but still not aggressive enough. I kinda like the head lights though. They're looking pretty good. I'm probably going to skip it. I get that it's more about the drive than the looks, but I can't justify spending a good amount on a car that I'm not 100% into.

These photos are very unflattering.

IMO the front bumper design is too busy - horizontal led lights, angled slats, and diamond mesh grill. Makes the car a bit chintzy.

Hopefully the M3 front bumper will be simpler. At least it wont have the ugly horizontal led light strips.

Doesn't change my opinion that the car as shown in these photos is not attractive.

First though looking at the pictures is a guy running with shoes 2 sizes too small
the proportions are off
it looks a bit.. clunky
the side mirrors still look upside down to me

The side view is ok
The rear view is spoiled by the bottom half (not a fan of the 5-series rear bottom)
The front view is.. like the other guy said clunky

I don't think it looks terrible but jeez who is signing off on these huge grilles at BMW? I thought tacky chrome tractor trailer grilles we're gone with the 90s and 2000s

I dunno. Keep thinking it's gonna grow on me, but the more I see it, the more I don't like the front view at all. Hoping it looks better in person, and/or its driving dynamics make me forget about its looks.

Nope you're not the only. I'm liking it and the white M Performance Edition one I saw looked awesome. I'll be getting one in the spring (assuming the rates aren't mental).
