Yep, sorry: thinking "Southeast" and typed "east" at least twice there. I used to see them unloading at the Charleston (SC) pier over off the I-526 and Wando terminal docks area. Mostly the Maersk and similar 'boats' we call them there. Largest group of "Ro-Ro" (Roll On / Roll Off) vehicle transportation in the southeast is that one dock in Brunswick Georgia. They don't do anything else there, just single-threaded auto unloading until they disgorge everything on-board and optionally load vehicles that are headed in the other direction.

I may call the BMW Genius line in a few days to find out the name of the ship it is on but I’m kind of having fun guessing at it and in the end, it will arrive when it arrives.

Well curiosity got the best of me and I broke down and called the BMW Genius line.

My car is on the HAWAIIAN HIGHWAY due into Baltimore on Feb 22nd.

The Hawaiian Highway has and docked and my car should be getting offloaded today at BMW’s Sparrows Point facility.

Hopefully it will pass through inspection without any issues and be on a truck headed this way soon.

Here’s an oddity I have not seen posted here before.

When I posted on the 13th that my status was showing “In transit” and the “orderStatusCode” seen with using the F12 trick showed “195”.

Now that the ship is at the destination port my MyBMW page now shows it back as “At the port” and the “orderStatusCode” now shows “193” again.

I’m guessing that they just don’t have a unique code for destination ports vs shipping ports but it sure seems odd to see the car backtrack on the “My BMW Garage” page.

I guess my build is coming to an end now.

I got a call from my salesman this morning to let me know that my car would be arriving at the dealership later today. They agreed to add back the 50th anniversary badging that was the only option dropped on my build.

I will be going in tomorrow to take ownership.

I 100% agree. I did not get the ventilated seats either. I would rather have the comfort. I tried both and the non ventilated seats are much more supportive and contouring.

I also was worried about deletes during my build. There was no way I was taking a car that was not exactly what I wanted. Why pay that type of money for something that is not what you want.
My car came with every thing I wanted with was all boxes ticked except wireless charging. That small cubby will not barely even fit my iPhone 14!! It's too hard to get in and out of there.
I also added a few carbon fiber bits at the port as well.
