No.

I would request a discount of 6,370 (10%, which folks have been having on this forum), and I'm not sure on rebates since the dealer should offer what BMWFS provides, but I thought it was 3,250 and not 4,000. Sometimes CA rebates are different, but if the dealer has confirmed 4,000, then take it.

Your money factor should be base which is .00165.

See below:

leasehackr.com/calculator?make=BMW&miles=10000&msd=0&msrp=63720&s ales_price=57348&months=36&mf=.00165&dp=0&dealer_f ee=300&acq_fee=925&taxed_inc=4000&untaxed_inc=0&re bate=0&resP=61&reg_fee=300&sales_tax=9&demo_mileag e=0&memo=&acqFee_check=true&monthlyTax_radio=true

I'm not sure what CA's sales tax rate is so you may need to update for that, as well as government/registration fees.

You guys have it so good!

BMWNA already giving credits on new MY vehicles while we're stuck with just loyalty.

The price I calculated for my M340i build is $1,122.92 for 42 months, 3.99%, 51% residual and $0 down. Yes, that's M3/M4 money for you guys, but up here, M3/M4's are a lot higher.

Hello all, I'm finally ready to join the BMW fam, I did a build for $57,630 MSRP, thinking about financing and putting down 20K, what do you think my chances are for getting it at $50k out the door in Los Angeles?

Based on what has been posted, it's possible if you're able to get a dealership to give up all the gross on MSRP and get $3000 worth of credits.

Ok thank, I will request the 10% off MSRP PLUS the $4k in rebates, that seems like a good deal.

Greetings!

First post as I'm new to forum :-) Thinking it's time to get back in a 3 series (owned E36, E46, E90 and F30 in the past) and on the topic of this thread I've been offered a pretty good quote from a dealer within 300 miles of my home, MSRP minus 14% on a $64k M340i Xdrive order after incentives. Judging from the quotes seen here, I can probably get a slightly better deal if I expand my search farther out but honestly I don't think this is too bad for an almost local deal up here.

Question for folks here - Have anybody seen dealers running away from their initial quote when/if you brought up a trade in? I have the quote on paper with manager approval. Now is the time to discuss trade in and I guess there is always the risk that all of a sudden they won't honor the original quote OR will just lowball me on the trade-in? What are your experiences?

They will lowball you on the trade. Time to bend over. What do you have to trade in?

Got offered this on my two payments left with my 535i. I'm better off waiting until my lease is over? Don't feel like much of any loyalty discounts/rebates.

Including 2 pmts of 690.00, drive event passed but will discount additional 1000.00.
selling at 60100.00.
36/12K
3000 drive off
rebates of 2750.00 - comes off price of car (net selling $57350.00)
payment of 725 + tax

Nice, why not private sale? Do you owe money on it? What are tax laws in your state on a trade in ?

Which dealer are you working with? Portland?

They will definitely give you less than wholesale price on your GTS. You are better off selling it yourself or consign it locally.

I'll be happy to PM you the dealer name :-)

On the GTS I heard back and they actually quoted me within KBB, NADA guidelines, so not too bad!

It is... fast and practical for sure! Had it since around the time it came out (some time after the "S" and the "Turbo"). It's just that now I'm starting to miss that low center of gravity of a sports sedan and with G20 bringing the 3 series back in shape, well...

Per my other reply just now, dealer actually came back with a decent quote.

However, at least trying private sale before just accepting a dealer quote might actually not be a bad idea - Thank you!

Try Carvana or Vroom. I just sold my 14 335xi to Vroom for $2,500 more than the dealership or Carmax offed. First time I've done it and it was super easy. Both Carvana and Vroom were within $100 of each other.

Typically your dealer will match or better the offer from CARMAX. Also, if the car is financed and you owe money, you may get a tax break if you trade it in and are buying a new car. You
may only have to pay taxes on the difference between the sale price of the new car and what they give you on the trade. $60K new car minus $30K trade = $20K that you pay taxes on instead of paying taxes on the full $60K.

Is that with taxes included and can you mention the dealer if you don't mind?

My lease is ending in about 6 months so I got some time but that's a pretty good price.
