Had this done about 3 months ago for cheaper temporary option, until I decided on cat back exhaust. Was thinking of AWE or MAD catback exhaust. But from videos I can find online doesn’t seem to be much of a difference. Especially since both of those options won’t have a valved set up thinking of just leaving muffler delete. Thoughts and opinions appreciated!

couple of revs/take off

cold start

couple of revs

I think if you are going to get a system in the future, I’d go with the MAD catback instead of the AWE one. Having valves on your exhaust IMO is a very useful thing. I’ve had a muffler delete on my M340 and there is constant drone on the highway. So after a month or two I had to put the muffler back on. I just bought the Valvetronic exhaust and will be installing it in the up coming month. After extensive researching on the Valvetronic exhaust, which is very similar to the MAD catback (both with 2 valves and a muffler but with a muffler bypass pipe) I have very high expectations with the exhaust!

Please post vids when you do! You probably get it on before I make a decision on next upgrade lol. Drone doesn’t bother me at all with muffler delete. But now that I know MAD has valves may go that route. I agree 100% with you that having option to be valved and quite when needed is a huge plus. Based on your research what made you go Valvetronic instead of MAD? Just asking because MAD is cheaper lol.

We added an extra valve to make it a true 2 valved system like the M's.

Many videos in our thread. We also post tons of short customer videos on our instagram that never end up on youtube.

Sale also ends on the 31st if you want to get on our pre order list.

I’ll for sure post some clips when I get it on. I was debating on both MAD and Valvetronic and went with Valvetronic because they use “dual pneumatic actuated valves” instead of the electronic valves that are used on the MAD exhaust. Both are good options but I eventually went with Valvetronic because of the big sale they had on Black Friday. Before making that decision, I kept myself up to date with the MAD exhaust with the thread they have here and I think MAD is also a pretty good product since they are the only ones that offer a catback exhaust for a reasonable price. If Valvetronic didn’t have their sale, I think I would’ve went the MAD route
