Idrive Crashing
Hi anyone having issues with either YouTube or YouTube music ... The apps seems to crash my idrive system on my g20
Took it to BMW no help what's so ever as you can imagine , showed them a video of the fault and even demonstrate it. This was after the latest BMW Idrive update Just wondered if anyone had experienced this issue |

#1 - Bass cutting off randomly #2 - I drive rebooting after switching songs.... Today I got the feedback from the dealership and according to them it's a damaged head unit which is already on its way having an ETA of around 3 months (as according to them it needs to be coded)... I was expecting a new amp (as I provided the puma reference and all the info) but looks like they believe that its caused by the headunit |

Same issue with my 330e. I've taken it to the dealership 3 times now. Just this most recent time, they're telling me this is a known compatibility issue with my phone, Galaxy S20, causing the headunit to glitch when connected, and a software fix is due to roll out in June. If I keep my phone disconnected until the fix rolls out, I shouldn't have the problem anymore. We'll see...

Is it going to be an automatic software update? Or the dealership has to do it? By keeping the phone disconnected.. you mean totally not to connect the phone till june? Or can I use it till then? |

Supposed to be automatic. Yes, completely disconnected and deleted from the car's memory. They recommended to be sure, don't reconnect the phone until July since they didn't know exactly when in June the update would roll out.

Android auto is not available in my country so I'm connected via Bluetooth.. however i got an iphone and using is currently only for music and its working perfectly on both Bluetooth and wireless apple carplay.. so I'm assuming the problem with the galaxy phones is not having the android auto option.. |

Hey so I have an s10 and yes get the issue with AA YouTube and Spotify
If I delete my Bluetooth phone profile and then reconnect it works for a bit but then slowly gets worse. As mentioned hopefully this next patch fixes it but who knows. Has any of those experiencing the issues tried connecting an iPhone.? I did this and there was no issues. I contacted Samsung and they said Id need to take the phone into a store but I'm not sure what good that will do |

Did you guys solve the problem? I have the same exact issue I'm not even using android auto. I'm connecting via Bluetooth and using YouTube music. I checked developer settings in my Samsung s10 plus but my default Bluetooth AVRCP settings is already 1.5. Any other ideas?
