Wow, I saw that in the other thread and thought it was a joke. I hope everyone is safe.

Got the first quote from them last night and it was a little light but not too terribly far off. I have already had my contractor in the house and working on the quote. It will be better than it was before.

It's looking good. Love the house numbers too. What size are they?

I went with 12". I'd recommend using blue tape to mock it up first before ordering because they are made to order and not returnable.

if its protected against weather, print it full size on a 11x8.5 sheet and cut it in 1/2'' mdf sheet.
Pretty simple, fast and cheap. It actually cost me 0$. Edges are white and face black. I spray it with clear coat to be sure it wont move. Came with this idea since I couldn't find the : size, font and color combo for my house. |

I looked at the website listed above and found something I like and that will work for me. I just have to put in the order. Thanks for the tip though.

Although I've won this thread...just need to let folks know that there's always a need to stay on top of things.
Wife stated I needed to clean the garage...not done yet (post more on this later), but wanted to get something done to match the car... |

Also...want to state a sad fact. Once you think you're done with everything, it's really just a circle that your start over on.
Doing the master bath on a budget a while back...created a need for an update. Here's the progress so far |

Looking good. I like the finish on those numbers. Great quality too. Can't go wrong with MHN.

Helped my pops install 2 out of 6 underground downspouts and pop-up drains.
We didn't use PVC pipes we used flexible plastic pipes. When we got the house built in 2015, the builders just added the downspouts in the front of the house where the landscaping was done. So every time it rained, the landscaping would get all messed up including the mulch. We brought a drain spout extension a few months after moving in to extend the downspout to the driveway. Friday morning, we noticed the sidewalk leading to the front door was sinking because of the drain sput extension. So, we rushed to Menards and brought some material to install the drain spout underground with the pop-up drains. I wonder if the builders will come to fix the sidewalk since it started to sink because of them technically. Looks like this: |
