2024 M340 Steering Wheel

For those with a '24 M340, is your steering wheel the one with leather stitching or the one that looks like a plastic turtle shell? I am going to be disappointed if my fully loaded car comes with the turtle shell

Just look on Autotrader, every 2024 has the non-stitched airbag cover sadly. Looks terrible IMO.

Stitching is gone. Pretty sure all 2024 models have turtle shell. Mine doesn’t have stitching.

I wonder if you get real leather they give you the stitched airbag cover? I just checked Autotrader and all the M340i’s I’ve seen that have that airbag cover have sensatec.

Not sure about the US, but on the Canadian AutoTrader I've seen 2024 M340i's with vernasca leather and even one with merino leather, and neither had the stitched airbag cover.

What a shame. It’s the small details and this was surely one of them. Poor form BMW.

Looks like the 2024 2 series (M240i) has dropped the stitched airbag cover as well, but the the 2024 4 series (even the 430i) keeps the stitched cover.

What a shame. Common BMW we expect better from you. At least give an option to upgrade to it.
