I'd like to see more blue offerings. BMW has always had excellent blue colors.

When what I call the original M sport was introduced in 3/03 with the ZHP on the non-M e46, you could order it in what was back then an M exclusive color, Imola Red and were limited to Silver Grey, Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, and I think Orient Blue was the dark blue back then.

Specifying the M Sport bodykit has always limited the colour palette; I'm not aware of any BMW series which allowed the kit to be factory-fitted in all colours. As dealer-fit or aftermarket, then of course. It's a shame, as today the 2 series also misses out on some nice colours when you specify the M Sport trim, as you have to depending on which engine you want (UK trim/engine choices are more limited than other markets, due to market conservatism and focus on corporate/enterprise lease value retention). |

No more Carbon Black Metalic for M-Sport.

I'm a little bummed they have kept the color schemes quite traditional and do not have many modern options such as something akin to Audi's Nardo Gray or ceramic lighter gray shades such as BMW's formerly awesome Space gray. Maybe for an LCI.

but my money is on Alpine White, Black Sapphire. But hopefully we'll see a true silver (no blue hue), a red other than Melbourne, a blue like San Marino Blue or e36 Avus or close to it, Tanzanite, please no more Mineral Grey (not that it's a bad color, but for exclusivity keep a grey for M like Donnington), and maybe a gold to match the the color on the 736 M wheels. Mix it up ///M!

I'm glad that BMW has started to add more color options to the palette. That said, I'm guessing that Blue Ridge Mountain will be the least-selected color in this offering.

Waiting for the 340 and M340 to be released to replace my F30. I would have preferred mediterranean blue on M-Sport as well. Estoril was too bright for me - portimao is better (need to see in person) but medi blue seems just right. Looks like they are just trying to sell the tanzanite blue individual color.

Blue Ridge Mountain will be the Liquid Blue of the G20. Driven by grandmas and high school girls who want a bmw badged car and it was the only thing on the lot in june when they got their license.
