I'd be pretty surprised if A&M holds onto their #4 ranking over UW through the end of the season, even with no losses by either. The committee has indicated that they do place a significant weight factor on being the conference champion; there would likely be some shuffling at seasons end if UW wins the PAC-12, while A&M is sitting at home and didn't even win their division.

btw - this is not meant as a slight on A&M by any means, just based on the committee criteria and body of work at the end of the season. Louisville is in a similar situation as well (plus ignoring the recent weeks flawed wins...) I'd be surprised if a Power 5 undefeated conf. champion were left out for a one-loss non-conf champion.

]My initial feeling this season was that Alabama and Ohio were far and above the best 2 teams but believe it to be Alabama, Michigan amd Clemson with my dawgs far behind unfortunately.

Thanksgiving is going to be an awesome weekend for college football if things pan-out! Playoff qualifiers for OSU-Mich and Bama-Barn!

I'm heading to the OSU-Maryland game next weekend (my wife is a buckeye), so it should be fun to watch a live game.

Add OSU. The winner of that Mich/OSU game is going to get in the playoff. I think Alabama can now lose a game and still get it in.
