Ebay diffuser on my m340
Well all my worries were for nothing. Finally threw on a rear diffuser that's actually aggressive looking
Give me your honest opinions, what do you think? |

Out of all the options out there, I like this one the best! I thought all the other's were too subtle; this one is just aggressive enough IMO. Link please?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/383920150904 I think a lot of people are worried about it not fitting. When I got it and did it at my shop it seemed like it didn't fit but after we stretched it out it actually fit just fine. |

ALotOfKirbys,
I have a 2020 M340, currently with the stock rectangular exhaust tips & Cerium gray diffuser. I notice that you have twin circular tips on each side. What is the intake and output size of these? Also, did you have to modify diffuser at all? Thanks

I also installed that diffuser on my M340i.
It needs some trimming and cutting to fit the original exhaust tips, but no big deal if you’re a bit handy and have some tools. When it arrived i also thought it wouldn’t fit correctly, but it does fits perfectly. |

Rednose_M340i ,
Looks great! Is the diffuser referenced above, AKASAKA Carbon Fiber Look Rear Diffuser For BMW G20 325i 325LI M Sport 2019+, the one you installed? What kind of cutting did you have to do -- around the exhaust tips? BTW, is your spoiler from Autonet? Thanks

Yes correct, Akasaka gloss black is the one I have. The M340i exhaust tips are bigger so I had to cut that shape out of the diffuser.
Since the exhaust end is oval on the M340i it is not possible to bolt on double exhaust tips. |

I'm not too sure my exhaust tip size but it's definitely pushing it. But you can probably look around because I have the AWE track exhaust on mine
I'm not too sure if you would need to do any trimming with the rectangular tips, but for sure you need to stretch it out a bit from what I did |

I also opted for this diffuser as well. As ALotOfKirbys mentioned, it didn't seem like it was going to fit at first but it fits great and have had no issues. I also appreciate that it used some of the factory bolt locations underneath. I had a previous aftermarket diffuser that I paid almost X4 that didn't have any holes (required drilling) and the sides constantly pop out.

Hey ALotOfKirbys, I was just wondering what you meant by stretching the diffuser out in your shop so it fits better. What exactly did you have to do and did the AWE tips fit fine without having any problems with drone or other sounds because of contact with the metal and the plastic?

AWE tips fit fine but it's somewhat tight. What I meant by stretching it is bending it outwards towards you when put it on. It'll look like not a direct fitment but it is

Is there only one akasaka diffuser or is there one for the 330 and one for the m340? I received mine but the taps on the very outer edge near the bottom do not look to be the same as my stock one.
