When I see some of the older BMWs, circa e90 and prior, I think the grilles look small now, but I think there is definitely a point of diminishing returns on them getting larger.

If they could have used the m340i styling and exhaust for the m440i Also the new M3 and M4, I would like it better. Like I said, feedback from the forums and sales will determine how well received.
I with the 4-series concept was a clone of the m340i and I would buy m440i. Time will tell |

That must be a good thing... because he was the King of Kustomizers!
I'm not so sure about the comparison, though. I don't think he ever put a grille that big on a car. My personal favorite Barris Kustom was the ZZR from Out of Sight, a crappy mashup of beach party and spy movies that used to show late at night when I was a kid. |

Stopped at the BMW Welt building in Munich today and saw the concept 4 in person. I have to admit that the grille is not as repulsive and my guess is it will grow on people real fast. The car looks sharp and sporty, I can imagine a black one with extended shadow line including the black grille will go a long way...here are some photos. Cheers!

I wish G20 had this front end, so that I wouldn’t have to wait for G26.

I prefer the inward sloped upper portion of the grill on the i-4 concept to the flat grill we've seen on the production ready 4-series.
1-4 concept 4-series:
