Build Status Tracking- 2023 M340i LCI

Hello,

Seeing other threads thought it would be great to create this forum specific to our LCI M340i to track our build statuses compared to the 22's and overall in general. Please share your build status (build week, status progress, etc.) for your M340i. I know a few of us had got bumped from 22s to 2023s.

Model Year: 2023
Order placed: 4/27/2022
Original build date: Week 20
Confirmed build date: Week 20 ==> Week 25 ==> Week 26 ==> 5/17/2022 pushed to a 23'

Production Begins: Sometime in July.

Finally, after months of waiting for a 2022 and then being bumped to 2023, I have made it to Status 150 on my 2023!

Model Year: 2023
Order placed: 4/27/2022
Original build date: Week 20
Confirmed build date: Week 20 ==> Week 25 ==> Week 26 ==> 5/17/2022 pushed to a 23' Now Week 29

VIN Number Received: July 3rd

Ordered my 22 M340i in feb. Pushed to a 23 model and was scheduled for end of July production. Just got pushed back to a week 33 production for end of august.

This is the 5th time it’s been delayed. I’ve absolutely had it with bmw.

Not sure why this keeps happening.

Scheduled for production week 29. F12 shows a production date of 7/11

Currently stuck in "Production Begins".

How long till it switched from 150?, I know I started a day before you on 06/23. And till now 07/19, it still shows production begins. Called genius and they said no changes on the estimated completion date which was 07/13. I don't understand what is going on

I've given up on understanding how BMW's manufacturing process works. I've been waiting for my car to go into production since February...

Ironically we're all in the tri-state area- I have a feeling all our cars are tied together and probably in line right before each others.. So if someone moves, we all move... is my theory.

Called my CA and he said he has 6 other cars with the same problem and has sent an email to the factory, hopefully we get a response by the end of the week. I really want to enjoy my car before the end of the summer

Damn from 07/11. Mine has also been stuck in production begins since 06/23. Initial build week was 07/13. It hasn’t changed yet.
