Lower active shutter coding, still getting LIN code

HI all, trying to code off active grille on a 2020 BMW G20 330i, still getting LIN Communication error. Coded it off with esys, then unplugged the connector. Any thoughts or ideas?

Out of curiousity: why do you want to code active grille off? Genuine question.
