Still docked at port Baltimore. Hopefully heads to Jersey port today.

BMW Genius said tentative date for port call at Bayonne for RCC America is 9/17. That was as of a week ago. My 330 is on that ship too, headed for RI eventually.

I assume shipping from NJ will be by truck. Hoping the pending rail strike does not affect things.

The ship moved from Sparrow point to Baltimore port. Then to Dundalk, only to go back to Baltimore port again. Two days now in Baltimore all together.

My dealer called and confirmed it will be delivered on Friday afternoon so I'm heading in on Saturday morning to finalize paperwork and pick up my baby!! FINALLY!!!!

IT'S HERE!! IT'S HERE!!!

My car ended up arriving a few days early to my dealership so I'll be camping out at the dealership's front door on Friday morning to pick up my keys. Ended up taking 2 months + 3 days from order placed date to delivery to the dealership. While I had a slight hang-up in the QA stage, the entire process was pretty smooth and quicker then I had anticipated. To all my "build buddies" out there...thanks for the entertainment and I am crossing my fingers that you see movement SOON!

Production begins (VIN) : Sept 14
Production date : Sept 24

Does anyone know the transit time from Mexico to Galveston? Wondering if I'll get my car in October or November.

I think it's hard to know with any certainty. The real variable is confirming space available on the ship. Then it has to train to the port, get loaded, transit, be processed, ship to dealer, then dealer prep.

But to answer your question, the Clipper Tarpon (bulk carrier) is currently in transit between Veracruz and Galveston. Looks like it left Veracruz at 0413UTC yesterday and will arrive at Galveston at 0400UTC tomorrow. So-- about 48 hours from departure to arrival.

It’s two days I am in Texas and watching the boats. There is a boat on September 27 will be in Galveston on the 29th. The next is October 3 making it to Galveston on the 5th. The next is October 21st making it to Galveston on the 23rd.

I live in Fresno, CA. How often are there ships going from Mexico to LA? Hoping to get my car before Thanksgiving!

Cars currently on its way to the port and awaiting a ship per BMW Genius. They stated it could take up to two weeks until it gets a assigned a ship for pickup.

Anyone know if a ship is scheduled to make the port in Mexico? Cars being delivered to Port Baltimore
