I can't seem to find a comparison out there. If you came from a 435i to a M340i can you point out the differences or similarities? I know the M340i has a lot more power stock but I am running BM3. If this has already been posted let me know with a link.

I previously owned a 2013 BMW 335 with an M-sport package and BM3 stage 1 upgrade. While I enjoyed the N55 engine, the newer B58 engine is truly impressive. The overall refinement of the car has been greatly improved, with a much better chassis and stronger stock performance compared to my tuned 335. Additionally, the technological advancements are a night and day difference.

I owned a 2015 435i xDrive with MPPK. The car had plenty of power but lacked in the handling department (due to non-sport suspension and no LSD).
The M340i is definitely faster and handles a bit better. The suspension is a little on the firmer side, even with adaptive suspension.

I think one of the biggest difference is the engine - Coming from a 2013 335i xdrive, in terms of reliability and potential, the B58TU (which I have now) is a good investment unless you are a good mechanic 😊

I had a 2015 435 with MPPK and M Exhaust. As far as I can tell, the M440 includes the MPPK and MPE. Is this correct?

The 435 with Mperf was one of my favorite cars, except for the drive by wire.

Besides the excellent B58 engine, the G20 chassis is stiffer than the F30 chassis. Expect sharper handling overall. It's also slightly larger, so it is heavier, but hides it's weight well with the improved suspension and chassis.

The interior is a different design language, that some people find subjectively better or worse, depending. iDrive, to me, is a slight improvement with the layout and customizability. Interior ambient LED lighting is much brighter and adorns more of the cabin than the subtle F3X lighting.
