Boot liner for G20 LCI
Hi all,
Any recommendations for a boot mat for my 320i saloon arriving in December? My dealer quoted £95 for the BMW version which is 2x what 3rd party suppliers seem to be charging - is it worth the premium? Not decided yet whether to go with a carpet mat or rubber liner. It seems there is no change to boot shape on the LCI so assume original G20 mat will fit fine. Thanks in advance. |

I’ve got the OEM boot liner and can’t fault it. Yes it is more than some cheaper versions but like anything you get what you pay for.
If you keep the car 3-4 years it’s well worth it. And no doubt you can sell it on when you change cars, provided it’s been looked after. |

Think I paid £70 or so for genuine off BMW via Ebay, (was a few yrs ago mind)worth it though, quality is excellent.
Have a look for Cotswold BMW on there. Edit: Here you go. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124546873...Bk9SR8blq6CGYQ

Thanks all for the replies. Consensus seems to be with OEM! That’s the way I’ve gone with previous cars. Certainly the design looks more premium than cheaper alternatives.

I went aftermarket.
Big mistake, very slippy, quite thin plastic. Everything just slid around on it. I tried to stick a bumper guard to it (neoprene) and absolutely nothing would act as a glue - I have access to a lot of industrial adhesives, and adhesion promoter. Gave up, shoved it in the loft at work, and went OEM. It works. Period. |

Get the original BMW ones, quality and fit is incomparable.. Loads on Ebay. There's actually a nearly new full set on there now for £60!

On the topic of boot liners, I just bought the OEM boot liner for my G20 320D but it doesn't seem to fit very well.
It fits fairly well around the sides and front end, but around the back where the BMW badge is, the liner is raised up, but doesn't have anything to rest on. I contacted the seller on ebay who is a BMW seller, and they said that it is the correct part no for my car. Does anyone know if this is just how it is or if I'm missing something?
