Map update USB drive.
I'd be grateful if someone who has a USB drive containing the map update file would have a look at it, and let me know if the top level listing shows just a folder, or does it show two files with the filename extensions .pkg and .sig, along with six sub-folders?

Many thanks.
Here's my listing, I'd be grateful if you would let me know which folder is missing. |

Thanks for your help.
I'd be grateful if you would check one more thing for me. If you still have the folder on your PC/Mac that the downloaded map file was unzipped into, would you see if the FSC folder is in there. I think the FSC code might be generated by the Download Manager software and added to the USB drive, rather than it being included in the ZIP file itself. The Download Manager has stop working for me since I updated my Mac's operating system last week - it's always worked in the past. I'm now trying to "manually" get the necessary data onto the USB drive. |

Thanks again for your help, it's much appreciated.
That would suggest the FSC code is indeed generated by the software and is not included in the ZIP file. I wonder how people who have used the "manual" method have managed to generate an FSC code. |

Have you updated to Ventura? How do you find it? I'm staying on Monterey for now.

You can check your OS version by clicking SYSTEM SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> ABOUT. If you want to stick with Monteray, perhaps you also should check that you don't have automatic updates selected. |

Fsc is a hang over from the old days , it's all provisioned by connected drive now, so it's not needed.
The dlm will create one for your vin, as it supports all cars ( like the old fxx series with nbt head units ) |
