AWE Track edition with Valvetronic Design's universal mufflers?

So I’m getting a 24 M340xi soon and have been extensively looking for exhausts.

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the AWE Track edition https://awe-tuning.com/collections/b...-exhaust-suite

but I don’t want loud exhaust always as I want to be able to avoid police and waking up my neighbors.

Unfortunately the track edition doesn’t come with valved exhausts nor do the touring edition.

Until I came across Valvetronic Design’s Universal Mufflers. https://valvetronic.com/products/uni...39496534491172

Im new into the mod scene, would these work?

Look into the Bomiz exhaust. It’s pretty much exactly what you’re looking for.

Why won’t you get the valvetronic full exhaust? Yes it might be more expensive but you are getting the best of both worlds

im confused, you signature says you have a 330, but the AWE exhaust you linked is for the M340

either way, the universal muffler is not the way to go in my opinion. if you like the valvetronic sound, get their dedicated system for your car.

Really no reason to get a Track exhaust when you can have dual valves. With the valves fully open it will act 100% like a straight pipe but you still have the ability to quiet down the system if need be.

Our exhaust is cheaper and has more features.

Looking at AWE's mufflers for the same exhaust system, these appear to be longer. Whether or not they're too long, I don't know. I am also really digging AWE's track exhaust, and would very much be interested in welding these on. If their touring exhaust came with a valved muffler, it would be a no brainer, but this is the next best thing.

The only way to know for sure is to measure the area where the mufflers will be. The video states that it's 18" long. I plan on getting an AWE Track exhaust in the future, so I'll definitely look into the possibility of installing these, but don't hold your breath waiting for me.

I got it, I recommend a valved exhaust with a muffler for the best sound. I prefer the single midpipe design with a center muffler for the deepest and cleanest sound.

MAD and Valvetronic both use this design. pick the one you like the most.

When you mean valvetronic, do you mean valvetronic designs or FI Valvetronic
