30% increase in 330i prices in Australia since 2020

Bmw prices have risen by more than 30 % in the past two years. Compounded further by absence of discounts. Are these crazy prices going to stay or will they come back down to 2020 levels again?

I don't think I've ever seen BMW drop prices. If interest rates continue to go up it will cool off the car market. In which case BMW will bring back the incentives, however car marker don't want to go back to the "good ol days". Even GM is idling some plants so they can keep the supply low and the make higher profits.

The M340i has actually reduced in price in Australia with the LCI update, but the 320i and 330i have increased substantially. There is now only $4,000 between the 330i and M340i which is absolutely ridiculous when you consider the engine, X-Drive and better standard equipment. There is really no argument for the 330i in the current line-up, which is a shame as to my mind it is really the best balanced everyday use road car of the lot. BMW seem to be driving 320i/330i purchasers in the direction of the i4 eDrive40 which is 'only' $6k more than the 330i now. If you can wait 12 months for delivery ...

On the plus side it should be good for those of us who currently own 330i's as it should bolster the resale value!

Well said. People who buy the 320i at previous 330i prices will be paying well over value. Very few will buy the 330i as it’s so closely priced to the 340i. Bmw are essentially forcing people onto the higher margin cars

Can't wait to see more M340i LCI models on the road. I have yet to see one on the roads in Melbourne.
