I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful understated BMW M340i touring. It's a corporate looking car without any badges, which is entirely to my taste.

The car is from Germany (so EU spec).
I'm looking for an exhaust upgrade that keeps the car understated in comfort mode (or with valve closed) but enhances the nice B58 sounds when the valve is open. It doesn't have to be super super loud, but more sportscar like would be great.

Also I definitely want to keep the current squadratic exhaust tips.

There are so many options and so many threads about this topic, that I don't know where to start.

Would a downpipe (i.e.

) accomodate my wishes? Or should I go for a full exhaust upgrade?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I thought their current M340i only has the Downpipe. They even advertise that you can come by and see and experience their upgrades.
