I just got a 2024 M340i XDrive and I was wondering if an exhaust will trigger CEL. (I am trying to stay away from tuning as possible until my warranty is expired.)

No. Our only cat is in the downpipe, so if you're not removing that cat, you're good.

the downpipe is the only exhaust mod that might trigger the check engine light

No , An exhaust system will not cause a cel light.( However if your changing the downpipe ) some downpipes are known to cause a cel light. 💡

I’m thinking of grabbing a Dinan Exhaust. Or even grabbing all their FBOs because of their warranty policy

If it's behind the downpipe you will be fine. You shouldn't not have any issues with a cat back exhaust and warranty. We have tons of customer running our exhaust's on many platforms and never heard of any warranty issues.
