After a couple months -
how is the exhaust?
Do you notice drone going around 85 mph?
Is it wife approved??

I love the sound of it! The only thing is extremely loud is the cold start, but for driving, there no drone. For the wife, I would say it's just at the limit of being too much, but the other day, she told me that she loves the burbles sound of it (down shift and up shift)!

Its funny because I currently have the Resonated Touring + AA catted DP on mine and have been contemplating getting the res to non-res conversion kit 😂. Is there any particular reason to why you were contemplating converting to res? Also, I noticed this thread was awhile ago so would love to hear what you ended up doing and how you have enjoyed it. 😁

The cold start for some is too loud when paired with non-res. Once that 20 seconds pass, it sounds beautiful

Coding out the cold start mode was a game changer for me. It didn't bother me, but everyone else in my house hated it and I'm sure my closest neighbor could hear it while leaving.

That depends on the sound you are looking for. In my opinion, MAD and Valvetronic are excellent options.

This is a catless downpipe video so expect slightly less volume with a 200 cell catted downpipe.

Same sound just less burbles because of the updated tuning.

Found it catted downpipe and 2021+.

I heard this combo (MAD + AA DP) in person recently. Valves closed, it's nicely civil and pleasant. Valves open, it gets very loud and boomy. Inside the car you can feel it like subwoofers underneath the seats.
Personally, for me it's little bit too loud for daily driving. The AWE doesn't have valves but it has resonators, so that may help to make it not as loud I think.
But I can definitely say that in person, MAD+AA DP sounds better than on videos. It's just a question of how loud you like your exhaust to be.
