Picked up mine Friday the wait was worth it (April), soon as you step foot in the car those long delivery times come a distant memory.

You get a different answer everytime you talk to the "bmw genius" I have been told my car has been made in Mexico, USA and the best one China.

Still 165 and now been told carrier assigned. A carrier was assigned back in October.

3 weeks till delivery date and it looks like it's still in Mexico

Internal politics at work (mine is a company car) won’t let me investigate directly and due to the fact of so many false dawns, they won’t give a lot of detail in case it doesn’t get here when expected
All in know is it’s due for collection by mid December
Therefore I’m presuming it’s on Drive Green Highway, which would sort of fit with expected mid Dec timescale? If not can’t see me getting this year?

I feel your pain mate. Mines is a company car too and it's been a shambles from day one! like you they are not keen on me taking matters into my own hands. The car should be with me in two weeks as it's now at the dealership (they won't tell me where lol)

Dealer told me that they need release from Arval before they can arrange delivery, think mines coming in to Bristol tonight which is unusual as it’s normally Southampton, let’s see

Congrats to everyone who have received their car after a painfully long wait. I ordered mine in August and it was delivered to the dealer w/c 31 October. Unfortunately I'm out of the country so will have to wait a bit longer to drive it.

On a related note, are people religiously following the advisory surrounding the break-in period?

Well I'm finally picking mines up on the 30th November. Ordered 5th September 2022. I was given a March date for delivery then was pushed back 22 weeks! Was built in July and arrived into Southampton on the 23rd October. I will be coming over from Northern Ireland to collect it. Very bitter sweet as I've been waiting 15 months for the car but at least it's here!

That’s brilliant news asbost so pleased for you that it has finally arrived and collection is imminent!
As soon as you’re a few miles into the journey back home the past 15 months of pain, anguish and distress will pale into insignificance……trust me!

Which model is it you’re getting again? and which dealer?

Thank you bmnut! I really appreciate your kind words and all your support throughout my rants lol.

Yes, I'm sure when I'm in the car my level of frustration will reduce significantly! It's a company car so I couldn't go crazy so I went for M Sport, Brooklyn grey, HK audio and lumbar support. I'll be tempted to add some extras via the BMW experience, such adaptive suspension if the car is equipped to activate it.

The dealer I believe is Hereford in the Cotswolds. They will be putting it onto a trailer and brining it into Scotland where I'll pick it up and take it back across the water all going well!

Countdown is on and time to get excited!
