Same here, would love to see EC-7 / EC7R

All setup with the group buy. Looking to purchase these for the wife as she's been waiting.

She bought herself Bilstein coilovers and put them in storage while we wait for these wheels.

Expert@ApexRaceParts has it been confirmed that the SM-10 wheels will clear the larger 374mm (ZTK) brake package?

Thanks for going through the Group Buy process! A quick note though for you itsrichierich, You're actually not pledged for a set on the Group Buy yet. You are on the interested list, but you haven't fully pledged for a set and if the Group buy closed tomorrow for example (it won't, don't worry) you would not be allocated a set of these wheels.

This is a great reminder for those following along with this thread: showing your interest isn't enough to be considered pledged and lock in a set of wheels. I'll try and link to our video at the correct time stamp to show what last steps you need to take to pledge for a set:

Edit: Looks like I can't link to specific timestamps on bimmerpost, but 2:30 into the video is where it talks about interested vs pledging.

If anyone has questions about this process or is experiencing a technical issue preventing you from pledging, please reach out via DM on gangup or email groupbuys@apexraceparts.com.

One last note: those Bilstien coilovers may limit inner clearance around your front struts. Depending on the front tire you go with, a small front spacer may be required to regain the inner clearance up front.

It hasn't been fully confirmed yet as we still need laser scans/testfits of those brakes to be 100% sure. Anecdotally, they should easily clear that brake package unless the caliper positioning is way off what we would typically see.

I'm having a few non-traditional checks done by our engineers to give you a better understanding of how much clearance there is with the 19x9 ET28 wheel on this chassis. I do know that this 19x9 ET28 wheel clears a 405x35mm Brembo kit via the aftermarket template (attached). Generally speaking even with some room for error that would mean the wheels would easily clear a 374mm factory kit.

We would still like to have the 374mm kit on file for possible future 18" options though. If anyone is local to the bay area and has these brakes, we would love to scan your car. If we are doing a brake scan only, it doesn't need to be clean and these scans don't take as long as a combined testfit and photoshoot.

If we do get confirmation via testfit/scan, I'll be sure to post that here and on the Group Buy updates page.

How certain are you on the September ship date? I was hoping to be able to get these in time for a HPDE event in late September, do you think that is risky or doable (I know that global supply chains right now are nuts so I figured I would ask). Not a deal breaker , but this would be a nice kicker! Thanks!!!

It's looking good currently. Right now we should be able to meet or slightly beat that early september ETA but I'll have more exact updates as we draw closer to the actual ship date.

Shipping is certainly always crazy and it could change for the worse but right now we are in good shape!

Folks, 14 days left in this group buy for a nice set of wheels from a company that supports our community. Please pass along to anyone not on Bimmerpost & in the market for new wheels for their G2x

Looks like we just unlocked the Max Discount. Big thanks to everyone who has pledged!

If anyone has been on the fence about this Group Buy, we still have a few days left to go. Get your pledges in prior to June 30th to ensure you lock in a set of these wheels!

Any update on VS-5RS availability? I commented on Instagram and someone from Apex replied that you guys just released, or are close to, the VS-5RS fitments for the G20, and a group buy may be coming?!

If so i'll be the first on the list.

Also wanted your input, what do you think of:
F: 245/40 R19 ET 35
R: 275/43 R19 ET 35

for xdrive? Showing that its only a .4% difference, but from what I'm seeing it isnt too popular or shown here

They haven't been released yet, but we have a staggered fitment inbound that will be released in the future. They may be launched with a Group Buy but I don't yet have details on that launch.

I'm not sure if you listed the correct tire sizes and you only listed an offset for a wheel but not a width.

We do have 245/40-19 Front and 275/35-19 listed on our fitment guide, but the taller front tire may contact the front strut or spring perch with wider tire models. The wheels we talk about in the guide for this staggered fitment are our 19x9 ET28 front wheels and 19x10 ET38.

Geez. Sorry haha

Correct was wondering if:
F: 19x8.5 in 245/40-19 ET 25
R: 19x9.5 in 275/40-19 ET 35

Would work. Car is X-drive and will be lowered on dinan springs.

In these specifications, the rear wheel and tire overall diameter is 3.42% taller than the front wheel and tire you had in mind. That fitment would not be compatible with xDrive and might be tall enough to cause rubbing in the rear. I attached an image from a wheel and tire calculator for the in-depth notes.

Width and offset wise I think you'll be fine, but a 275/35-19 would be a better choice in terms of tire sizing & xDrive fitments.

Your right. Im messing up every post. So seems like this would be a good fit:

F: 19x8.5 in 245/40-19 ET 25
R: 19x9.5 in 275/35-19 ET 35

Yes, those tires should be fine in most cases. The taller front tires may have some slight rubbing if they are a tire model that runs wide as I noted in my prior posts.
