I'm struggling to take to the exterior, hope it grows on me, felt the same on the pre-lci e90, never looked quite right, took some getting used to, the LCI e90 was subtle but enough to make a difference... thought the f30 looked great straight away.. still love the stance at the front..
e46 always looked good.. a nice m sport example still does now to me. Let's hope the G20 grows on me too.. |

Not feeling it. The white one is too low. Does it come with a new era cap that I can wear backwards? These wheels either don't look good on the car or the car doesn't look good on the wheels. I can't figure out which, but either way hard pass.

Not even fantastic BBS wheels can save this thing

Indeed. The stock 5 spoke sport wheels actually look better.

Give the guy a break. It looks sweet IMO. I bet if the wheels were BBS FI-R everyone would say it looks gorgeous. It's a little too low for my taste and I happen to like a little more sidewall but overall it's a good looking car. Enjoy in health.

Exactly what i was thinking when i saw the rear from that angle...

There has been too many cross pollenization and inspiration from other car manufacturing... Why BMW couldn't set the trend as they always have? I am almost crying for Bangle to come back to BMW... I think the fact that the "Kink" has been so much tortured with the G20 (it basically is no longer a "Kink" from my point of view... Sad...), the lack of "Kink" makes it look like any other sport sedan, especially a C-class profile. BMW lost its identity with the G20... Quote:
Hopefully the next M3 will be their redemption... EDIT: @NYAWE60, i agree, the car does not look entirely bad... it does not look bad, in fact it looks so much better than a stock G20 ! Unfortunately BMW made the G20 look too much like other cars... I have to say that cars in general should come stock with a lower stance... lower stance ALWAYS make a car look better. I am not talking slammed, but just to get rid of all wheel well gaps... I like the look of the mod here.

Unfortunately there isn't a wheel/tire/suspension combo on earth that can fix the looks of this quasi- Infiniti J30/Merc C300/Lexus IS300.
Its inconceivable how quickly BMW turned over an entire customer base. There is no way on earth that the same types of car enthusiasts who bought E9X's and F3X's are even remotely similar to the current car's customer base. |

With the first picture, from the back door all the way down to the rear looks exactly like the new C-Class, and yes the brakes look extremely small due to the bigger wheels. And please don't de-badge a car.

Too many lines. Looks like a cross between a souped up Toyota camary and an IS. Nothing really visually distinguishable about this (and it’s modded!) chassis. Saw it in person. Looks like it’s trying hard, but not awful looking.
It Takes a minute too long to Figure out what kind of car it is. Not sure what bmw was thinking but what do I know. I’m sure they will sell :-) |
