Is the Executive Package for the M340i worth the $2100 price tag?

Do you guys feel that the Executive package is worth getting for the $2100 price tag?

I didn't. I felt like the parking package gave me everything I truly needed from the executive package. The laser lights and auto headlights seemed cool but also didn't particularly fit any problem I was trying to solve.

The laser lights alone are like 2000, not part of executive.

Mine has it, the laser lights are nice... but I could live without the package and also the driving assistant stuff.

I used to think Gesture Control was more for show, but honestly I find myself using it almost-exclusively for volume, skipping tracks, and answering/declining calls.

This! I wouldn't have bought without the surround cameras and top tier headlights. The regular adaptive LEDs are terribly ugly IMO.

My review of the executive package:

1. I've used parking assistant plus a bunch of times now to parallel park. It is a very fast and accurate implementation of the technology. It can parallel park faster and more accurately than I can. So I'm happy to have the option.

2. The automatic high beams and adaptive laser lights are something else. If you ever have to travel dark back-roads at night, which I do from time to time, these will blow you away.

3. Gesture control is sort of a gimmick in my opinion. Yes, it works... but there's already buttons on the steering wheel that do everything the gestures can do. I use them to adjust the volume up and down but use buttons for everything else such as skipping tracks, dismissing calls, navigating home etc.

So my takeaway is that it's worth it if you can afford it and it may contribute to a higher residual value.
