So long as the valve is open when you disconnect, then NO, the car simply thinks it’s open continuously and therefore no engine lights, or at least for me

You 100% sure? I tried this when I first bought the car, and I'm unsure if I unplugged it with the valve open and it threw a code. Js got a resonator delete and dme stage 1 sounds good but needs to be louder, just not trying to get a code again

I dont have BimmerCode, I was just going to unplug the cable - but Ive heard that that can be pretty scetchy. I would do BimmerCode but I have a tune on the car and I'm afriad that if i flash w bimmerCode my tune will get wiped.
