Spacesaver spare wheel G20
Does anyone have the spacesaver spare wheel option?
Does it result in a false floor in the boot, and would it be possible to take out the spare (and jack etc) and utilise the full boot space? Thanks in advance |

I have it and it reduces the boot A LOT. Granted it does tell you this on the website but I didn't look and the dealer didn't point it out as I'd likely have not bothered. Just didn't occur to me as I'd had space savers in 4 Audi's and it didn't mean losing boot space. Not looked to see if it could be removed to utilise the space. In theory I guess it could.

As Andy says, I also believe it can be removed but you would need the correct floor mat to make it look correct. Of course if it was just a temporary removal then no issues.

It seems the cheapest way to get the wheel (speccing it as option when new), but wouldn't want it the whole time, ie summer runflats or winter non runflats etc
