I see a streamlined 3 Series GT with 4 Series Gran Coupe proportions

Any chance this will be faster than a model 3 performance? I so hope so!
Maybe an M electric version!
I'm always eying the etron GT but would be happy to get a BMW performance electric car.

Had the same thought. Looks to be a bit chunkier in the back than current 4 series.

Hope this car can blow the Model 3 away on ACC, range and performance. The more competition the better.

Hopefully this mule has fake parts bolted on everywhere that are helping to mask a more dynamic design.

Not impressed by this early spy shot.

I don't see how Musk can open Tesla Chargers to other vehicles if the plugs don't fit. Maybe he expects folks to have these relatively hard-to-find adapters?

Over 70% of EV owners charge at home anyway. I've had a Model-X for over 3 years now and I've never even SEEN a Supercharger much less used one. We just plug our car in every night. Done. (We don't use our EV for long road trips - we have ICE vehicles for that...)
I've never seen a supercharger myself lol. They simply aren't as common as gas stations. Charging at home means you always leave home with a full "tank" which is the primary advantage of EVs.

Model 3 Performance rips 60 mph in 3.1 sec and has a top speed of 155 mph.

BMW will have to remove all dogmas and make it fast enough to complete.

Wow BMW that took normal enough for it to actually sell.

Something "normal" looking, not some fuggly modern version of an eco-box. This will sell unlike the poor exterior design of the i3. This is what BMW should have executed years ago!!!

It's snow tires, I believe it's mandatory in Germany in the winter.

I understand that the market's going in this direction but I will personally hold onto internal combustion engines as long as I can. I'm just too old school a car enthusiast. The lack of hydraulic steering in modern cars hurts me enough. This is coming from someone who used to work at Tesla!

They are fake. If you look close they appear to be photos of tail pipes. Lol This will enrage all the "M340 has fake exhaust" people. Love it.

I3 was cool in every way but design. This is just an electric 4 series. I guess more like an M4 and i4 is the idea

No exhaust noise. How can you possibly fun with a i4 vs a M440i
BMW will obviously pipe those beautiful and organic active sounds into the cockpit and then you can crank those speakers all the way up to make the Tesla next to you to be jealous that they don't have that sweet sound

It's probably part of the camo wrap. Although since they have to put "Electric test vehicle" on it anyway for safety reasons I'm not sure why bother, but I'd doubt a camo wrap would enrage anyone.
