Boot Close Issue

I come to close the boot today and when I walked away after pressing the lock button on the boot it was open a couple of inches.

I push it closed then opened it again but it only lifted a couple of inches when I had to manual lift it. Keeping the button pressed on the fob does nothing and keeping the open button on the car only works if I keep it pressed.

Anyone experienced this?

Sounds like an ECU needs to be 'reset' haven't a clue how you would do this but hopefully someone on here might know!

Sounds like an ECU needs to be 'reset' haven't a clue how you would do this but hopefully someone on here might know!
