It. actually was looking a little promising with the euro plate on front, looked decent. but without, or with the US, I loathe it.

Omg thank you for pointing it out. I was under the impression that dark colors would hide the grills more but I think it only accentuates the lip-effect more

One good thing is US drivers won't have to worry about patching holes in the front bumper.

It looks better in darker color. However, I would say BMW definitely leave the better design for their m models.

maybe because when they see you they say "he's probably from Indiana"

apart from several states in the USA and 9 provinces and territories in Canada, I don't know if there are countries that do not require front plates
I never liked front plates, but the police in my country doesn't joke about it.. but the 4 series looks weird with or without the front plate

The grille is awful. They should have stuck with something similar to the M340i but if they wanted to go with a big grille they should have gone all the way. It looks half assed. There is too much space left below and on the sides.
