Which style black grill for my M340i - slatted or diamond mesh?
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the G20 world and just picked up a 2020 M340i in Sapphire Black. I came from a 2011 E92 335i and loved that car! I've done a ton of research, and I'm trying to decide whether to get the 330i style grill or the M340i style grill. I believe both styles will fit on my car, but I want to see more pictures before I make my decision. Please help! 330i style grill: https://ind-distribution.com/collect...e-front-grille M340i style grill: https://ind-distribution.com/collect...e-front-grille

The 330i style grille is much more iconic and fitting for a bmw imo. Here’s mine on PB.

I've been having the same debate. Part of me likes the newness of the new grill versus the same old. but another part likes the lines on the 330 style. And if i choose to go with the more classic style, the question then becomes single slat or double slat.

Funny thing is that the cerium mesh is the ugliest of all four grilles, but the black mesh is the sexiest. The slatted traditional grille (black) comes in second, and the bi-color slatted grille comes in third IMO. Amazing how color can give the same thing a completely different appeal.

I broke down and just ordered the black mesh grille and the black fog light bits to get rid of the cerium pieces on my M340i. I'm thinking of keeping the cerium mirror caps as a bit of contrast to all the black and white.
