Where is the negative jump start connector?

I am looking at the car manual and it indicates a 'special connection on the body'
serves as negative.

However when i open the bonnet i can't find such 'connection'
indicated by the manual picture, there should be a connector in the
rectangle i marked, but there is nothing there?

anyone know where the negative connector should be then on a g20 320i?

many thanks

In the photo you attached, the aluminum stud with the black wire connected to it, up and to the left of the area you identified.

Had the same problem and I can confirm the stud with the wire, that's the connection I used.

Also had the same problem. SA told me to connect the negative connector on the stud, as agreed by others above. In my car, the wire is brown. Hope this helps.
