My new M440i has arrived

My new M440i finally arrived at the dealer today. Collection tomorrow, once it has been registered.

Dravit grey with standard Cerium trim. Black Vernasca leather with grey stitching. Multiple packs and options.

I loved the design of the car when I first saw the press release photos early last year and when I saw and drove the dealer’s demonstrator last October. But having then spent 3 months reading every article and watching every YouTube review, I will admit I had started to worry whether the grille might detract from the overall beauty of the rest of the car, or whether I would wish I had chosen black or Tanzanite blue instead of Dravit. But as soon as I saw the Dravit/Cerium combination on the forecourt, and saw the car as a whole, all my concerns disappeared. It has far exceeded my expectations and hopes (aesthetically) and I think it looks amazing. I now cannot wait to collect and drive it.

Congrats! The cerium parts look great with Dravit! Not a fan of them on any other colour.

Congrats. I agree, Cerium seems to be mixed specifically for Dravit. Looks great and will look stunning in some bright sunshine.

Beautiful. Enjoy and drive safely!

Is there some blue in the headlights or is that just a reflection of a nearby car?

There’s blue there. It’s because the car has laser lights.

Lovely colour! I'm slightly biased though . Looks fantastic in the sun

Thank you everyone for all your comments and replies!

It’s great to finally have the car. And I am so pleased with how beautiful it is. It’s just a shame that all I can now do with it is look at it sitting in the driveway until lockdown #3 ends....
