I’m on 11/2020, also have the same issue. Anyone know what to code to resolve the issue?

At the moment, there's no work around I believe. BMW has to release a new update to fix it.

Yes, now I see the threads talking about this problem....thought it was caused by the coding

Garage List
I have just coded COMFORT PLUS on my 320 xd and although I have adaptive suspension I cannot see any improvements on driving comfort at all (18" winter tyres non-runflat). Noticed that the car it's more under powered , probably less then ECO PRO mode... I cannot see the COMFORT PLUS in IDRIVE in order to change some preferences either?! There are no hopes for exhaust noises but I'm going to try SPORT PLUS very soon and probably code back this pointless COMFORT PLUS

So at the moment what do I need to code Sport+ with my Iphone? Tried searching through the thread but seeing different updates and changes in regards to if a beta is needed and whatnot.

Also for the Iphone what connection type should I go with that are reliable when using Bimmercode?

Bluetooth (e.g. uni car scan adapter) = slow but "cheap"

WLAN (e.g. MHD Black adapter) = fast, more expensive

I would go with MHD because its easier to remove

coding should be:

HeadUnit:
FES_SPORT_EXPERT

BDC:
Fessportworldmode1

Super helpful, thank you!

So the below should work correct?

https://burgertuning.com/products/mh...-flash-adapter

Then i would just need to purchase the full version of Bimmercode?

Coded sport + but I thought it was too jerky to regularly drive in (great for accelerating but not driving around for me)

However I coded my car to start up in sport individual with sport steering and transmission and sport plus engine. It gives you the quick throttle response and crackles of sport plus but the shifting of sport so it doesn't keep the revs so high all the time. Drives perfect now!

Oh man, you guys weren't exaggerating with how big of a difference Sport+ makes. This is how a car should feel in a "Sport" mode. Way more fun and definitely worth the $30 for bimmercode and $80 I spent on the adapter.

Get an E-NET cable! (and an ethernet-USB adapter for the smartphone)
Very fast and very cheap!

Sure does, that's what I used. Even videos on YouTube to help if needed.

Yup. It isn't like in the F30 where it turns traction off (or did it put it into optimized mode?). But yes. Not in the G2xs.

Is it possible to use the OBDLink CX Bluetooth to code the Sport + or does it have to be the MHD?

avoid the ODBLINK CX and go for a MX+ BT or WiFi model. Works far better.

So I'm seeing that the CX is $30 and the MX is $100. I'm curious, why is it worth it to pay more than double price for a slightly better adapter?

No idea. Bimmercode supports OBDLink CX as well (I remember seeing it in the update notes in google play). I think you can use any OBDLink adapter to code all modules. So yes. I'd get the cheapest one and save the rest for something else

PS - If your phone supports wired connections, I'd recommend getting an enet cable and phone adapter for it. Much faster than any wireless connection.
