So here’s what I’ve gathered so far from various posts:

Dinan - flap/rattle issues
AWE track - crazy drone
Awe touring - nice sound, but kills (most of?) the pops/burbles
Valvetronic - haven’t found any feedback from anyone with this system?
Megan racing - may be least risky (especially at $500 ish)?
All the others - little owner feedback and $$$$$ for a <300hp sedan

Not trying to hate here…I just haven’t heard anyone really say they LOVE their exhaust.

I always put off my exhaust mods and then kick myself because they usually have the biggest $ per smile return (for me anyway) and wish I had done them sooner.

On past platforms, there seems to be more of a consensus on which exhaust is “THE exhaust”…do we have a favorite yet here?

I have the AWE Touring for my LCI 330i and I could be biased here, but it is really a nice exhaust. It's on the "tame" side and for this particular reason, I would say the valve should not be a requirement/dealbreaker for most. I also don't believe it kills pops/burbles; in fact, it does the opposite. On pre LCI models, it enhances burbles/pops, but with the LCI model, there are little to no burbles NOT because of the exhaust, but because this is how the car is from factory. The only regret you would have is that it is maybe a bit too quiet. However, that is subjective and could easily be fixed with a resonator delete or downpipe.

Thanks, Chris! I do have a pre LCI and running an AA catted DP already. Sounds like a solid vote for the AWE. Anyone else have thoughts for/against?

I have g20 330i x drive and want to change exhaust i am confused between awe track and valvetronic which one do u guys think is better and has deep voice tone

Valvetronic has a deeper tone than the AWE track.
