b46 vs b48
I have a 2023 330i from the US. Does this mean my car has a b46 engine? Or do I have the b48? Also are parts compatible with the b48 also compatible with the b48?

Most US cars are B46
99% of the parts are the same. Downpipes and turbos are different.

Exhausts are going to be different as well... B48 cars have an OPF while the B46 does not.

you have the b46 because of california's strict emissions rules, the entire United States market got the b46 engine and the b48 only exists over seas. the engine is the same to my knowledge and the parts will fit the only difference is the stock tune and the stock catalytic converter other than that everything is the same.
you have the 330i so almost every manufacturer will list that the part fits a 330i in the description |
