I've been networking with some old friends and colleagues of reputable companies that I'd be interested in working for/with. I try to be choosy and careful of companies that I apply with now. Just having a job doesn't cut it anymore. Money is great, but an enjoyable work life is just as important.

Any restrictions on mobile phone usage? I have my own office but i do all my Internetting on an ipad tethered to my cell data plan. Even though no one has ever called me on internet usage, my shit ain’t touching any part of the corporate network

I imagine that since my office co-habitant is constantly on facebook on her phone they can't say shit to me since they don't say anything to her. It's just easier for me to post and reply on my desktop toggling between screens in between replying to emails and whatnot. I'm a much more effective multitasker (basically screwing off when time permits) on one device.

In undergrad, I used to get free drinks and food from Starbucks by signing up for the "free birthday reward" multiple times under various phony emails.

I bet I did it about a 100 times or so.

They have since required you to be a member for a month and spend 5 bucks to receive the reward. I like to think I am the reason for this.
