PNW Roll call

Hopefully this forum isn't dead because everyone drives SUVs now so let's get it going! Post your introduction to the G20 including pics if available.

I just ordered an M340i xDrive for the wife and I'm pretty freakin' excited about it. After two test drives I was fairly convinced that it matched the performance of my E92 M3 while being more liveable, up to date, and AWD which I prefer. She of course loved it and to my surprise loved Tanzanite Blue (she normally dislikes blues).

Seattle remains a desert when it comes to German auto discounts so we will again travel to Portland and I would guess we'll have the car early August.

Tanzanite blue over oyster leather with oak open pore trim
Premium pack
Exec pack
Driver assist
792M staggered wheels with summer non-RFT
Spare tire in trunk
Adaptive suspension
H/K audio
Power tailgate

Who else out there with an incoming or delivered G20?

New to BMW, so this is my first time with a German car. Decided to go with the 330 M-sport and got full front PPF and ceramic coating. Very happy with the car so far (apple CarPlay issues aside). I was REALLY tempted to go form the m340 but opted against spending more this early in my career. Maybe an M3 will be in my future in 5-7 years

My car is at the port! I'm guessing another 6 weeks to wait.

Man I felt like I was checking everyday to see when I was on the boat! I didn’t realize til the car hit the dock that may dealer accidentally ordered summer tires for me, which wound up being a blessing in disguise (staggered set up). Although I do wonder how I’ll fare in winter here even with awd.

Post pics when you get it!

You really should either swap to some staggered all seasons or get a dedicated winter set. I always run summer then winter tires personally for max traction in the appropriate seasons.

Damn still at the port.

Checking in

Mine is currently being painted.

It will be replacing my F10 which I absolutely LOVED. I initially went to order a G30 but I was pretty impressed with the M340 which convinced me otherwise.

Interior color and wheels were the hardest options to pick. It initially had the 792 wheels with oyster int but below is the final configuration.

This will be my 1st blue car ever!

Here is how it is configured:

2020 M340i XDrive – 5U93
Portimao Blue Metallic – C31
Black Vemasca w/ Blue Stitching – MANL
Fine – wood trim oak grain open pored – 4KA
Driving Assistance Pack – ZDA
Premium Pack – ZPP
Executive Pack – ZPX
Front and Rear Heated Seats – 4HA
Ambient Lighting – 4UR
Power Tail Gate – 316
Remote Engine Start – 1CR - $300
Wireless Charging and Wi-Fi Hotspot – 6NW & 6WD
Harmon Kardon – 688
Space Saver Spare – 300
790M wheels with all season NON-RFT 1PE

Light at the end of the tunnel!

Mine is now sitting at the port. I do not anticipate for it to show up until the end of Sep.

Mine was about a week at port then a full 27 days at sea. Thankfully I've had a busy summer so time flies.

It would be great if mine shows up in 27 days as well but no rush.

I have been driving my T-5R for the past week and zero complaints on the wait.

Made it to Oceanus Leader. It has a scheduled stop in NY on 8/11. I think it will take another 2 weeks to get to Oxnard but who is counting

PNW Roll Call

I’m an Eastsider and 2 weeks ago picked up an M340i from Seattle BMW. I traded in a 17 A4, which was a great car. But, I absolutely love the M340i - so much fun to drive!

Here she is! Just driveway pics for now. So far just driving back from Portland wife and I are very impressed. Sooo much power. I'm sure it is every bit as quick as my E92 M3 to at least 100 mph.

Thanks!

So I thought I wouldn't really care for the cerium gray bits but on both our cars I honestly think it looks really good and classy. Not sure why so many people dislike it.

I think the gray looks great contrasted against the TB, especially with the gray wheels. I think it looks good with the Portimao blue too, just better against tb. I toy with the idea of blacking out the grill and intakes.

I’m really thinking about adding vinyl m strips down the front bumper or hood, or a white rally stripe. Not sure how the m colors will look against the Portimao blue.

Did you get your M340i from Kuni? My first color choices were Portimao or TB - I would have went either way.
