https://www.bilstein.com/us/en/produ...67265383631609

***Just sharing***
This one is for M340i, they have one for 330i as well
It is for RWD model, it does has one for xDrive as well but no EDC support
Anyone knows if how these compare the the B16/B12 suspension?
Good to see they keep the OEM EDC function!

It's actually been out for a little while. I stumbled upon the kit 2 months back while researching.

I ask some of the vendor they said they don't have the price yet, even for the RWD one, guess it's still too new

I actually called Bilstein here in Southern California to confirm the part number since every time I search the part number the 330 model comes up. They confirmed it's the right part number for the m340. I should have asked if it fits the 330 and 340. Anyone have experience with the evo s line? I decided on KW V2 but they're also $600 more.

Can't you just cap off the control plug? I paid 1800 for the V2 even though most places I looked was 2k. V3 is $2300. Here's the link https://www.autoanything.com/suspens...A3342A0A0.aspx

Guess it need some coding works or bypass wiring in order to use the non-adaptive one, didn't spend much time for looking into it. Hows the v2 feels tho? any pic of your car, was looking into v3 but the maximum height is still too low for me

They are the same.

Interestingly enough, while I was researching suspensions, I found something interesting. The 330i & 340i, Msport both share the same setup - they are identical part numbers.

The only reason I stumbled upon this was that I really want Dinan springs for my 330i, but they are in development. So I wondered what the difference was on 340i as they are available. So I wonder what the actual difference is going to be on the newly developed springs when compared to the current 340i offerings.

Why not go with springs. The adaptive suspension will adjust accordingly. Honestly, I think it would be better than coilovers unless you plan to heavily track your car. Just go with a modest drop spring and the shock should not be impacted.

For the F30, Dinan offered adaptive suspension coding to improve feel and paired very well with their spring and bump stop kit.

For some reason, I don't want to go coilovers on this car. I usually always go the coilover route on my cars. I feel like there are some high-quality spring offerings.

For ultimate handling increase wouldn't you want to go w coils tho? I had some KW's on my F30 and it was a very nice improvement. Never had springs so can't comment.

If Dinan had the springs and bump stops for the awd I woulda purchased already tho

So, for street driving, if you go with a quality spring, I bet most would be hard-pressed to tell the difference. I've never had springs either lol. Not sure why I want to start now. I may try either KW's or these Bilstines - we'll see.

How do they feel? I'm leasing, so I just need them to be slightly better than stock and lower.

Can anyone compare these to the KW V2? I ordered the KWs late October and was supposed to be delivered this week. I just got a notification that it got pushed back until 12/28(just to ship). I called KW to verify if that's true and they're telling me possibly mid January. Apparently these are built to order so they're not stocked normally and they were delayed and catching up on orders. He also mentioned that in Germany they get all of December off (we should do that state side as well) which is why there's such a delay. Almost all the parts I've bought are delayed and it's started to irritate me 🤯

I bet these would be on par with V2's. Bilstein was is a reputable suspension manufacturer.

The best way to tell how these would get a spec sheet for both and see what the spring rates are. It's not a perfect way of comparing, but will generally give you an idea of how soft or stiff they are.

I'm looking into it. Just contacted Turner Motorsport to see which they thought was better, the EVO S or KW V1 for my application which is prominently DD duty with occasional spirit lol.
