New 2020 Sunset Orange M340xi

I posted this in the order tracking thread as well but I wanted to put them in this forum as well. Today I picked up my 2020 Sunset Orange M340xi. I turned in a 2017 X5 3.0 and I still have a 2018 Phytonic Blue X3 M40i that was my daily drive until I got this car. My wife will now drive the X3 which a shows up in a couple of the pictures.

Congrats! I'll be interested in hearing a comparison vs the X3 M40i. I was very close to going with that over the M340i but I felt like the X3 is only a couple of years away from a full redesign.

Unfortunately with the coronavirus I've been stuck at home since I got the M340xi. My job allows me to work from home so I don't have to leave for work and there's a stay at home order for the whole state. I've only been able to drive it once since I brought it home and that was a very short trip.

It's driving me

not being able to drive it.

A couple things I can mention in comparison to the X3 M40 is I like the iDrive 7.0 in the M340 better than the iDrive 6.0 in the X3. While I haven't driven mine much I did test drive an M340xi two times and it was very thrilling. It is more so than the X3 but don't worry the X3 is a great car and I loved driving it. The X3 is roomier and the M340 has newer and better technology and is more fun to drive. It'll depend on what's the higher priority for you.

It's a BMW part and matte black.

I'm in High Point, NC and I thought governor Cooper had a stay at home order until April 29. Guilford county's stay at home order expired on April 15th but when it expired they said the governor's was still enforce until April 29.
