Ordered my very first BMW (current car is a macon). Getting a M440i. Signed the paper and gave the deposit last week of jan 2024. The dealer didnt get any allocation for Feb. How long did people wait?
Noticed that there are only 4 M440i available within a 50 mile radius of me.

Welcome to the forum. It all depends on how many allocations a dealer gets and how many are in the order bank. Allocations will come out again at the end of tis month/beg of March so hopefully you will be able to get one then.

I ordered in Dec and got mine the next day but the dealer did a trade for it, as I understand it.

Contact a broker if you get tired of waiting. They will have access to an allocation.

It's a good thing that you didnt get a MY24 allocation and MY25 are just being released

There are only a few out there now but March allocation should be much stronger, and the dealer should be able to fill your build without issue.

Hopefully you are getting a good discount as the target is

6-8% off before incentives with buy rate

On the same boat but with an M340i Xdrive built. Placed the order in early Jan and did not receive and allocation for Feb. Now have to wait a whole another month hoping to get an allocation!

I tend to agree with the post above. You may get a MY 25 car which is better in my opinion.

This is common especially among dealers that are part of a large national chain who can deal with other BMW dealerships owned by the same company. Mine was able to secure an M340i allocation the day I placed my order that way back in November. They actually had an allocation available but it went 150 status the day before we placed our order. I figured it would take a good while for them to get another one, but it turned out to be right away.

Depends on your dealership....the more they sell, the more allocations they get. I have always been able to order with available allocations so just had to wait for production and delivery from Germany...you will love it...p

On 12 January, I made a Purchase Agreement on an order for a 2024 M440ix GC. At that time the SA told me they had no January Allocations, and none were expected for February. Was asked if I'd consider waiting for a MY25 LCI. However, there was no way of knowing when specific info on configuration and allocations would be available. I chose to go for a MY24 allocation. Fortunately, by the end of January, he was able to aquire an allocation for a build the 13th Week/24-30 March. I suspect this was accomplished via a dealer trade.

Were you able to get an 2024 allocation, or are you waiting for the MY25 LCI 440i Gran Coupe release/allocations?

Since mid February, order tracking posts for the 2024 M440i Gran Coupe, seem to have dried up!
