You have that exactly backwards. Many will be OUT for a long model cycle...
Lol! ...Love it!

This car will bring a ton of new buyers to BMW.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

This car is at least 2 years deep in development. No poll is going to change that.

I think the sales are going to tank, this is a gift to Elon Musk.
imagine if there's a coupe version of the model 3 available when this "masterpiece" from BMW goes on sale, it'll be really interesting to see the sale numbers.

even without the grille it's just a bad design all around, the side and rear looks like carbon copy of the Q60.

And for the 47th some odd f*ckin time i ask, why the hell they couldnt have just gone w these grills/this look. Its a much smoother less harsh progression and omg, its also wayyyyy better looking. These guys draw too many cartoons and not enough real cars nowadays, what a shame ...

Part of me knew the eventual result would be much more refined, more rectangular and less trapezoidal than the renderings. I actually really like the almost Italian styling and I agree that this will bring many new buyers to the brand. What is odd, considering the move to electric cars (which have no need for grills), is how they are signaling new styling with massive grills.

But will make LCI come faster though if it tanks

If you look back at the old thread, and if my memory isn't failing me, there were a number of people who correctly predicted that would be the case.

So, if the initial production G22 4 Series Coupe does not have lighting like the concept (well, aside from the lack of outer glass on the headlight that we know will never be featured on a production car) there is a reasonable chance that the LCI lighting will be very similar to it.

The renderings are based off photos of the production car grills rather than the concept car grills.

Wonder if the production version will come with headlight glass cover or fully exposed as shown in the concept?

The concept also indicated there is no hood line, and possibly different grilles mesh options. Awaiting to see M3/M4 variant ...
Headlight covers, fairly obvious one of the 15% changes if the concert is 85% production ready.

With respect to the kidney grille; you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

In this case, it is the Joker trying to take over Gotham.

Don't know if I'll ever got on with these new grilles!

Another logical observation and prediction.

Holy sh*t, this man has nailed it! You are absolutely correct - BMW is indeed DOOM!

Just look at the O's in the picture below - they've been secretly telegraphing BMW's oversized vertical grill since 1993!

Coincidence...I think not

That's what they said about the E9X and E46. I hate to say it - because I absolutely love my F82 and I've always loved the F-Series in general - but seeing these new 4's drive around will date the F-Series. The G-sedan doesn't, but this snouty coupe will. It will drop jaws for better or for worse the moment one pulls up lowered with a set of HRE's and a front lip.

So glad I ordered and received my 2020 F36. Knew the new 4 was going to look bad but this? It's laughable.
