Programming a New Key FOB

I own a 2013 X5 50i. I have been to various sites and numerous websites looking for a solution to program new key FOB’s aftermarket for my vehicle. Is there a way to program them with the vehicle or is this a dealer only $200.00 item I’m going to have to suffer through paying?

As far as I know, the aftermarket solution for programming G series is not yet available. I had to buy a new key from the dealer.

I have attached a screen shot from a person that owed me a favor. Hope this helps everyone looking for a cheaper fix to replacing a remote after market.
I have ordered a FOB on Amazon for 15.00 and when it arrives in will update on whether this works or not.

It's not going to work, the key fob needs to be ordered directly from Germany with your corresponding VIN.

The replacement key fob comes pre-programmed, those instructions you listed is just to activate it, upon arrival.
