given how long it's been since the last one ended, i think it's fair for someone to do the same thing we did last time and create a poll with different themes.

We could also just go with the themes from magazines like Shutterbug every month (Picture This!). The April edition contest is "Shadows and Form". Previous Picture This! contests can be seen here: http://www.shutterbug.com/picture_this/

We can call the thread "April 2010 Picture Contest", start it on 4/1, pictures due after 3 weeks (4/21) with the poll posted 4/23 and closing on 4/30.

The May contest would then start on 5/1, rinse and repeat. This takes the responsibility of choosing the next theme off the last winner. Particularly good for situations where a "transient" comes in and wins, or someone who is a regular but gets really busy.

The only real stumbling block is having someone managing the contest each month and posting the poll.
