Asian glamour/portrait session

Before we start, I have yet to go through the rest of these or edit these ones. I also have not really worked with models or people at all so this was a first timer for me. Not really used a studio properly yet let alone lights so was a bit nervous.

Thought I would share some of my favourites from the shoot. Still a bit more to read on lighting and poses/compositions, a whole new ballpark for me but damn its addictive!

Oddly enough, I am looking forward to going through these properly.

How come her face is faced in the same direction every time? It reminds me of that one chick that has the same pose in like 1,000 pictures.

Used a Canon 1D mkII with a 24-70 and a 85mm. Two studio strobes which were 300watts IIRC which were optical since my strobist kit is pretty basic.

The shoot was for a makeup artist so the hair was styled to drap over the right hand side of the face more so it was only suitable to shoot the left.

There are more shots but I never actually noticed that so something I will have to remember for next time.
