Even Alpina is smart enough to start with the MSport version this time around.

I see so many non-Msport G20s on the road and it pains me everytime.

At last, stubborn German workshop Alpina is realizing it's an era of sport stylish car of any kind. Carbon fiber everywhere, black edition everywhere. It's a good move for Alpina to embrace the market. However it might ruin the touch of elegance and luxury this brand has. A sad dilemma.

I would totally sell the M2 for this. TO bad it isn't crossing the pond. Maybe in 25 years

And who doesn't love cupcakes?

I wish Alpina would reconsider and at least bring this one over. Audi has decided to bring the RS6 avant over, even though it will be close or break the $100k barrier

I think the B3 would easily outsell any other wagons here.

They don't though, Alpinas are very rare cars.

I wonder why don't they ever design a complete bumper on their own instead of tacking on a splitter section to the standard, or in this case M Sport bumper. It would be so intereseting to see a completely new front end design that's special to Alpinas.

The only reason they are using the M Sport car is because BMW does not make a B58 version of the regular car. Alpina would definitely have used the Sport Line car if BMW had made a 6 cylinder version.

Alpina is about understated luxury performance. They're more sleeper grand tourers.

+1 I always loved that they used non-m sport bumpers, however... was always mind boggled by the ugly, thin non-m sport steering wheels.

Two things that I have always loved are Alpina front bumpers and their wheel designs.
