Hello guys, now i ordered a 430i on 25/1/2023 and it was with idrive 7 and today 26/1/2023 one day after, i just noticed that the idrive is upgraded from 7 to 8 and now every 4 series on the configuration is idrive 8 with the curved display and the new gear shift ( which i hate ) so my question is will my car be produced with the idrive 8 or with the 7 ? and if it was with the 7 how to change it to 8 ?

Does it show BMWNA model 234x or 244x. The first is MY23 and the latter is 2024 models. You were three weeks after my order, and I'm watching mine built until today, when it's ready for transport to Bremerhaven for ocean freight to Brunswick GA -> Performance Center.

I dont have this information. How to get these numbers ? I only have the offer that they sent me when i was paying and it only has options and delivery date, it’s by the end of july or august

You didn't get a production number to follow online? (I'm hoping in the US, maybe. If not, I don't know about watching a vehicle from stage to stage but it's possible. Now, whether any specific country supports it is way beyond my pay grade.

If it's a 4 series scheduled for delivery any time after mid-March, it almost has to be an MY24.

Only the 2024 models will have idrive 8, 2023 is idrive 7

Exactly. Where do you see that? (iDrive8 and curved display, etc?). If you picked the Premium package, you're getting both HUD and wireless charging free.

I posted this on another thread but I will repost it here as it seems relevant and I am honestly confused on what is really the truth.

I was told back in December when ordering my 2023 M440i that it was iDrive 8. Many models seem to have switch over mid-year.

Frankly I am hoping it gets iDrive 7 as I hate the looks of the iDrive 8 panel (it looks like they stuck it on as an afterthought) and I also would prefer the iDrive 7 shifter but we will get what we get at this point.
